Job Summary
The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. You will ensure that all work meets local and national electrical codes and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan electrical layouts.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults efficiently and safely.
- Ensure all work sites are clean, organized, and safe for personnel and the public.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure project milestones are met.
- Inspect electrical systems to identify potential hazards and recommend solutions.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate time and material logs.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, wiring, circuit breakers, and transformers.
- Tools: Ability to use hand and power tools independently.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record (travel to FL jobs required).
- Safety: Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and protocols.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
