Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop quantitative and qualitative scenario models for strategic decision-making
- Produce executive-level foresight reports with actionable recommendations
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives on future implications
- Build and maintain proprietary trend databases using advanced analytics tools
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University on research initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight, trend analysis, or innovation consulting
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis) and data visualization
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neurotech, etc.)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology forecasting
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful foresight projects with measurable business impact
