Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain piping systems for water, gas, and drainage in residential and commercial properties.
- Diagnose complex plumbing issues and provide effective, cost-efficient solutions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
- Ensure all work strictly adheres to local New York City plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate project status to clients clearly.
- Maintain tools and equipment in excellent working condition.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on existing systems.
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Journeyman Plumber License.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional plumbing experience.
- Strong knowledge of piping materials, including copper, PVC, PEX, and cast iron.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
