Responsibilities
- Execute diverse construction tasks including site preparation, concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
- Maintain clean and organized job sites while adhering to OSHA safety standards
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) on complex projects
- Inspect completed work for quality and compliance with building codes
- Participate in project planning and progress meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with essential tools (saws, drills, levels, etc.)
- Ability to read architectural drawings and schematics
- Physical stamina to perform strenuous tasks in varied weather conditions
- North Carolina driver's license with clean record
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
