Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
- Operate heavy machinery including forklifts, excavators, and concrete saws (certification provided)
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and basic construction tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, safety protocols, and project specifications
- Maintain clean, organized work environments and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Perform site-specific tasks including trenching, formwork installation, and concrete finishing
- Participate in daily briefings and contribute to project timeline efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Ability to read tape measures and perform basic mathematical calculations
- Pass background check and drug screening
