Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and framing
- Operate heavy machinery (bobcats, forklifts, jackhammers) with precision
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades professionals
- Inspect materials for quality compliance and report defects
- Complete daily progress reports and safety checklists
Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial/residential construction experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with power tools and hand tools
- Blueprint reading and measurement calculation skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
