Responsibilities
- Execute precise concrete work including pours, finishes, and form installation
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, forklifts) with OSHA certification
- Install/repair electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC components
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Lead safety inspections and enforce OSHA compliance protocols
- Mentor junior laborers in trade-specific techniques
- Coordinate with subcontractors and project managers
Qualifications
- 3+ years in commercial/residential construction
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Valid Ohio driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency in power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills)
- Blueprint reading and measurement expertise
- Ability to lift 75 lbs repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Welding or carpentry certification preferred
- Drug-free workplace certification
