Responsibilities
- Execute precise site preparation, excavation, and material handling operations
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and power tools
- Implement strict OSHA safety protocols and maintain job site cleanliness
- Read blueprints and collaborate with carpenters, masons, and electricians
- Perform concrete work, framing, and finishing tasks with precision
- Manage inventory and coordinate material deliveries efficiently
Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and clean driving record
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Proficiency in operating power tools and heavy equipment
- Ability to read technical blueprints and schematics
- Physical stamina for lifting 50+ lbs and working in extreme weather
- Class B CDL preferred but not required
