Responsibilities
- Execute skilled labor tasks including concrete pouring, framing, and finish work
- Operate and maintain power tools and heavy machinery safely
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site regulations
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other trade professionals
- Perform quality control checks and maintain clean job sites
- Assist in material handling and equipment setup
Qualifications
- 2+ years of commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid OSHA 10/30 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow instructions
- Physical stamina for lifting 50+ lbs and working in all weather
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Willingness to travel between Illinois/Texas projects
