Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and concrete pouring tasks
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) with precision
- Install and dismantle scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Assist skilled trades with material handling and equipment operation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Maintain clean, organized work environments and proper waste disposal
- Perform preventative equipment maintenance and daily safety inspections
Qualifications
- 3+ years commercial/residential construction experience
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required
- Valid Class A or B CDL preferred
- Expertise in operating heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts)
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and construction math
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
