Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts, etc.) with proper safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and maintain clean job sites
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other trades professionals
- Inspect completed work for quality and compliance
- Assist in material handling and inventory management
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- OSHA 10/30 certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
