Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and equipment operation
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, masons, electricians) with project-specific duties
- Maintain safety compliance through proper PPE usage and hazard prevention protocols
- Read blueprints and technical specifications for accurate task execution
- Operate power tools and machinery (saws, drills, excavators) with precision
- Ensure job site cleanliness and organize materials for optimal workflow
- Document daily progress and report equipment/safety concerns to supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience or relevant vocational training
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and construction machinery
