Responsibilities
- Execute precise concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks on commercial/residential sites
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and power tools with OSHA compliance
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to implement complex structural designs
- Conduct daily equipment maintenance and safety inspections
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and inspectors to meet project milestones
- Implement strict safety protocols and maintain job site cleanliness
- Mentor apprentices on advanced construction techniques
Qualifications
- 3+ years verifiable experience in commercial/residential construction
- OSHA 30-Hour certification and valid Florida Contractor License preferred
- Proficiency in concrete work, masonry, and structural framing
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong knowledge of Miami-Dade building codes and permitting processes
- Valid Class B CDL license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends for project deadlines
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
