Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and electricians with material handling and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) with proper certification
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Install scaffolding and temporary structures
- Perform concrete pouring, finishing, and demolition work
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Knowledge of power tools and hand tools
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends on project deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
