Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and foundation work according to blueprints
- Operate heavy machinery including forklifts, excavators, and jackhammers
- Install structural components (framing, drywall, roofing) with precision
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and comply with OSHA regulations
- Collaborate with skilled tradesmen (electricians, plumbers, carpenters)
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Participate in safety briefings and emergency drills
Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operator license
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and blueprint reading
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Florida driver's license with clean record
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
