Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and framing
- Operate heavy machinery safely (forklifts, jackhammers, power tools)
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Assist skilled tradesmen (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) as needed
- Complete daily safety inspections and incident reporting
- Load/unload materials and equipment efficiently
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience
- Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check
- Willingness to work overtime/weekends as required
