Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery safely per OSHA standards
- Construct/repair foundations, scaffolding, and structural frameworks
- Read blueprints and technical drawings for precise implementation
- Maintain clean, organized job sites with proper waste management
- Collaborate with tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, welders) on integrated projects
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and safety checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience OR trade school certification
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency with power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and blueprint interpretation skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Cleveland metro area
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
