Responsibilities
- Execute heavy civil construction tasks including excavation, grading, and site preparation
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment (excavators, loaders) with precision
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols
- Collaborate with carpenters, masons, and other skilled trades
- Perform concrete work including pouring, finishing, and formwork
- Inspect completed work for quality compliance
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- Valid O-10 or equivalent Ohio construction certification
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Class A CDL preferred (not mandatory)
- Proficiency with power tools and hand tools
- Strong problem-solving abilities in field conditions
- Reliable transportation and punctual work ethic
