Responsibilities
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with framing, drywall, concrete finishing, and general site preparation.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and carrying materials as needed.
- Communicate effectively with foremen and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods in various weather conditions.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required for motivated applicants.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols is highly desirable.
