Responsibilities
- Execute precise demolition, excavation, and site preparation tasks
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and jackhammers
- Install and remove scaffolding, formwork, and safety barriers
- Mix, pour, and finish concrete with professional-grade techniques
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling
- Maintain OSHA compliance and enforce site safety protocols
- Perform equipment maintenance and daily site inspections
Qualifications
- 3+ years commercial construction experience required
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Class B Commercial Driver's License preferred
- Proficiency with power tools and heavy machinery
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- NYC Construction Safety Training (SST) card
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
