Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, demolition, and material handling with precision
- Operate power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills) and heavy machinery under expert supervision
- Maintain job site safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Assist skilled trades with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations
- Manage inventory and logistics for construction materials and equipment
- Perform site cleanup and waste management to ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet critical project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills in dynamic environments
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
