Responsibilities
- Execute foundational construction tasks including excavation, grading, and concrete pouring
- Operate heavy machinery safely (bobcats, forklifts, power tools)
- Install and finish structural elements (walls, floors, roofing)
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific procedures
- Collaborate with skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, plumbers)
- Maintain project cleanliness and proper material handling
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on construction/labor experience
- Valid Florida Driver's License and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Pass background/drug screening (pre-employment)
- Basic blueprint reading knowledge required
