Responsibilities
- Execute precise excavation, demolition, and earthmoving operations using heavy machinery
- Install and maintain scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Mix, pour, and finish concrete with expert-level craftsmanship
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and structural assembly
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and hand tools efficiently
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and methods
- Experience with blueprint reading and layout work
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends on critical projects
