Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and trenching
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, forklifts) with proper certifications
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handlingRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and safety protocols
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and comply with OSHA standards
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
- Complete daily progress reports and timesheets accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30 certification and forklift license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Experience with concrete finishing or scaffolding preferred
