Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy machinery
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, plumbers)
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols
- Complete daily cleanup and site maintenance tasks
- Report project progress and material needs to supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Strong teamwork communication skills
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Driver's license with clean record
