Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and debris removal
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and installation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Read blueprints and follow written instructions to ensure accuracy
- Maintain a clean, organized worksite and adhere to OSHA standards
- Participate in daily safety briefings and hazard mitigation
- Complete daily progress reports and time tracking
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience required
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous physical tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Reliable transportation to job sites within LA County
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background and drug screening
