Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA standards
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and physically demanding tasks
- Participate in scaffold erection/dismantling under supervision
- Complete daily time logs and safety documentation
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow verbal instructions from supervisors
- Comfortable working at heights (with proper training)
- Commitment to weekly work schedule (Mon-Fri, 7am-4pm)
