Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes (NEC, Louisiana State Amendments)
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Lead small crews on medium-scale projects
- Perform safety inspections and hazard mitigation
- Coordinate with contractors and property managers
- Maintain detailed work documentation and client reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Louisiana Journeyman or Master Electrician license
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency in conduit bending, wire pulling, and load calculations
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems
- Ability to work in confined spaces and adverse weather conditions
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
