Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 global innovation strategy, aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite stakeholders and external partners
- Mentor a high-performing team of innovation specialists and researchers
- Drive patent development and IP protection for breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products (3+ examples required)
- Expertise in emerging technologies with published industry insights
- Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or Technology (MBA/MSc preferred)
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing innovation budgets >$3M
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills across technical and executive domains
