Responsibilities
- Execute physical construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervisor guidance (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Assist skilled tradespeople with concrete work, framing, and finishing operations
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA safety protocols
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Load/unift equipment and materials using proper lifting techniques
- Document daily progress and report maintenance needs for tools/equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred but willing to train motivated candidates
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Charlotte metro area
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong teamwork ethic and punctuality record
