Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up equipment
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site setup
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks in all weather conditions
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work in extreme heat and outdoor conditions
