Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand tools (shovels, hammers, saws) and power equipment
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Read blueprints and execute construction tasks accurately
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs) and physical labor in all weather conditions
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic tool handling experience preferred
- Physical stamina to work 8-10 hour shifts
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Must be punctual and maintain excellent attendance
- Willingness to obtain OSHA certification (provided)
