Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and tradespeople with site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs) and manual labor in all weather conditions
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Assist in erecting scaffolding and temporary structures
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and safety checks
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Physical stamina to perform strenuous tasks for extended periods
- Basic tool knowledge (hammers, saws, drills, levels)
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (we provide training)
- Experience in commercial/residential construction a plus
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
