Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/residential buildings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local safety regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using diagnostic tools and testing equipment
- Manage projects from start to finish with minimal supervision
- Train junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and building management
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Michigan Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Proficiency in conduit bending, troubleshooting, and circuit design
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local regulations
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
