Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and setting up materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various construction duties.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools safely and correctly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by removing debris and following safety protocols.
- Load and unload trucks and construction materials efficiently.
- Read and follow basic blueprints and site plans where applicable.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards (OSHA 10 certification is a plus).
- Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
