Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and transport them to the job site.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and levels, under supervision.
- Assembly: Help assemble framing, drywall, and other structural components according to blueprints.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and cleanliness regulations.
- Assistance: Provide general labor support to skilled tradespeople as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor, landscaping, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
- Physical Fitness: Must be physically capable of performing heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety gear is a plus.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from the job site is required.
