Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain construction tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily site tasks.
- Load, unload, and distribute building materials around the job site accurately.
- Perform general cleanup and site preparation, including digging, leveling, and debris removal.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and site plans under supervision.
- Communicate effectively with site foremen and team members.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and estimating materials.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
