Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation, including clearing, digging, and leveling grounds according to blueprints and safety regulations.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist Trades: Support electricians, plumbers, and carpenters with basic tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
- Equipment Operation: Operate hand and power tools safely, including drills, saws, and compressors.
- Site Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized job site, removing debris and ensuring proper waste disposal.
- Quality Control: Help ensure work meets quality standards and project specifications.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude toward teamwork.
- Safety Conscious: Familiarity with basic construction safety protocols (OSHA) is a plus but not required.
- Driver's License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Experience: Prior construction or general labor experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidates.
