Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine the layout of wiring and equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards or defects and recommend repairs.
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service and clearly communicate project status and requirements.
- Utilize power and hand tools to complete tasks safely and effectively.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the State of Michigan.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven work experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuits, and load calculations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
