Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in residential and commercial settings.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layouts.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including clear communication and clean job sites.
- Utilize various hand and power tools, including test meters and diagnostic equipment.
- Assist in the mentoring of junior apprentices when required.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Journeyman Electrician License in California.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of NEC codes, wiring systems, and electrical theory.
- Tools: Own or reliable access to a comprehensive set of electrical tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical: Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
