Job Overview
The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial properties. You will ensure that all work complies with local and national electrical codes.
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Install, connect, and test electrical systems, including lighting, power, and communications equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and repair or replace faulty components.
- Ensure all work adheres to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site, following all safety regulations and protocols.
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the State of Florida.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
