Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain complex plumbing systems in commercial/residential properties
- Lead emergency response teams for critical water/sewer line failures
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with DC plumbing codes, OSHA standards, and safety protocols
- Train junior plumbers and supervise project teams
- Manage inventory, order materials, and maintain equipment
- Provide expert consultation on sustainable plumbing solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential plumbing experience
- Valid DC Master Plumber license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Expertise in trenchless technology and backflow prevention
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex system failures
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
