Responsibilities
- Install and Maintain: Perform high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in commercial and residential properties.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults and circuit failures efficiently and safely.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work strictly adheres to local San Francisco building codes and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan layouts and installation paths.
- Safety Management: Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA safety regulations and using appropriate protective equipment.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior electricians and apprentices, providing guidance on technical tasks and safety protocols.
- Material Management: Estimate and requisition electrical materials and supplies as required for projects.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Journeyman Electrician License (State of California) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints and understanding circuit diagrams.
- Tools: Ability to operate power tools, testing equipment, and hand tools independently.
- OSHA: Current OSHA 10 or 30 Construction Safety certification.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and team members.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
