Responsibilities
- Execute diverse construction tasks including concrete pouring, framing, demolition, and site preparation
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely (saws, drills, excavators)
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with material handling and installation
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and proper waste disposal procedures
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate effectively with crew members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years proven construction labor experience
- Valid O-10 construction card or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Class B CDL license or willingness to obtain (for equipment operation)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic knowledge of construction blueprints and measurements
- Strong work ethic with punctual attendance record
- Ability to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends
