Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using blueprints, technical diagrams, and manufacturer instructions.
- Ensure all work strictly complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues in residential and commercial settings.
- Prepare detailed work orders and maintain accurate project logs.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License (or equivalent certification) required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and local building codes (specifically in DC and GA).
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and technical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
