Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential/commercial properties
- Diagnose complex pipe leaks, clogs, and fixture malfunctions
- Interpret blueprints and technical schematics accurately
- Ensure compliance with NYC plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Manage emergency service calls with rapid response protocols
- Train apprentices on modern plumbing techniques
- Coordinate with contractors and property managers seamlessly
Qualifications
- 5+ years verifiable plumbing experience in urban environments
- NYS Master Plumber license (or equivalent reciprocity)
- Expertise in copper, PEX, and CPVC piping systems
- OSHA 30-hour construction certification preferred
- Valid NYC Department of Buildings registration
