As a key member of our crew, you'll work alongside skilled tradespeople while gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of construction. We value reliability, physical fitness, and a strong work ethic above all else.
Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Perform general cleanup, debris removal, and site maintenance
- Read basic blueprints and follow verbal instructions from supervisors
- Assist in setting up temporary structures and scaffolding
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (company-provided)
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, dust)
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
