Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, demolition, and earthmoving operations using heavy machinery
- Install and remove construction scaffolding, braces, and temporary structures
- Load/unload materials and equipment safely using forklifts and cranes
- Maintain job site cleanliness and hazardous waste disposal protocols
- Operate power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills) with precision
- Assist skilled tradesmen in concrete pouring and finishing
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and project blueprints
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Valid Class B CDL with airbrakes endorsement
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly
- Stable overnight work availability
- Pass pre-employment drug screening
- Basic blueprint reading skills
- Trench excavation competency certification preferred
