Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and equipment operation on active construction sites
- Assist skilled tradespersons with site preparation, demolition, and structural assembly
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Read blueprints and follow written instructions to execute construction tasks
- Work collaboratively in diverse teams to meet tight project deadlines
- Report hazards or equipment malfunctions to site supervisors immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction or industrial labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in physically demanding conditions
- Reliable transportation to early morning/night shift locations
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory management
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours on uneven surfaces
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
