Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and equipment operation (forklifts, jackhammers, etc.)
- Assist skilled trades with site preparation, excavation, and concrete work
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site cleanliness
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute construction tasks accurately
- Operate power tools and machinery safely during overnight shifts
- Collaborate with day shift teams for seamless project transitions
- Document daily progress and report maintenance needs to supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience required
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Class B CDL preferred (for equipment operation)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across metro Atlanta
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
